 Founded in 1959, Lotus Tours, Ltd. is a family owned and operated corporation providing travel and related services. In addition to professional travel management, we are market makers in tourism for people with special dietary needs such as kosher and gluten-free, eco travel and location production services.

When the Freer Gallery of the Smithsonian sponsored their Far East symposium, Lotus Tours arranged transportation, accommodations and VIP gallery visits for the curators of the nation's leading art museums. The Jewish Museum's sold out China and India tours were landmark events for that prestigious institution. Lotus also arranged the historic legislative exchange between Chinese and American officials.
Special diet tours and cruises that enable more people to see the world
For the past 15 years, Lotus Tours worked behind the scenes to organize gluten-free tours and cruises around the world including a gluten-free fund-raising cruise to the Mediterranean to benefit the Center for Celiac Research of the University of Maryland. Lotus Tours also catered a glatt kosher banquet at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing for 140 delegates and guests of Bar-Ilan University to commemorate a historic educational exchange between China and Israel.

Lotus Tours is a specialist in special movements for unusual applications. Lotus handled press trips to publicize the reopening of the historic Peace Hotel in Shanghai and the Shangri-La in Beijing. When World Championship Tennis (WCT) held its winter tournament in Montego Bay, Jamaica, Lotus Tours was the appointed agency for flights, hotels and tournament events. Top achievers of leading companies including Marantz, Canon and Fortune Personnel turned to Lotus for "inventive incentives" to China and Hong Kong.
